Your “Budget Watchdog” is still on the job! You elected me to improve the financial strength of our city, and today, we are stronger than ever! We own city hall free and clear. The budget is balanced, and we never spend money we don’t have. City growth is steady, overhead costs are down, property values are up, and Grand Terrace is the first California city to rid itself of Redevelopment Act debt and restore its full share of property tax revenue! California spent $111,000,000 on the Barton bridge and roundabout, and the city is repairing local roads. $2,500,000 in additional grants have been secured. There are several new businesses in town, and more coming! The city has successfully funded more law enforcement. Development planned for in-fill parcels are in various stages of engineering and processing. Community activities are re-gaining strength. Youth sports competition has returned. Faith-based groups have grown in power and influence. If you elect me to another term as your City Councilman, I will focus all my 50-years of business experience, 21-years of Planning Commission experience, and 8-years of City Council experience to keep Grand Terrace moving forward with a firm hand on the till.
