Within the last week, Sheriff’s Deputies assigned to Grand Terrace have been continuously investigating multiple commercial burglary reports made by victims at a local storage facility. During the investigation, deputies were able to track the suspects to a residence located on the 21000 Block of De Berry St. While at the location, deputies found evidence linking the residence and occupants to the burglaries. Deputies authored and served a search warrant at the residence and located/recovered a majority of the property reported stolen from the storage facility. At the time the search was conducted, none of the residents were home. However, while deputies were at the location, a vehicle occupied by Frank Flores and Douglas Dodge arrived and immediately tried to leave. Deputies were able to stop the vehicle and detain both subjects without incident. As the investigation continued, deputies were able to identify/confirm Flores and Dodge as the suspects involved in the burglaries. Both were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for Felony Conspiracy, Burglary and Possession of Stolen Property.
