The sale will include books ranging from adventure, romance, thrill, mystery and much more for all readers.

What kind of light brightens a bedroom? Is it the white light of a screen or a soft glow from a bedside lamp? Are the images before bed digitally moving across a television or are they being imagined from reading words on a book page? If you’ve missed the peace and calm of reading a book before bed, there’s a place to go this weekend to stock up on great books. The Friends of the Grand Terrace Library will be having a used book sale, on May 5th, from noon to 3 pm, in the lobby of Grand Terrace City Hall. The used book sale will feature a variety of books for readers of all ages. The Friends of the Grand Terrace Library asks that visitors bring their own tote bag to fill with your collection of books. Each tote you fill will only cost $5 to purchase, so bring multiple totes! “A huge thank you, to all those wonderful, folks who came to the very successful book sale” on March 23, 2019, according to the library’s Facebook page. “We sold 500 dollars’ worth of books! We still have a lot more books and will have even more, in time for the next book sale” on May 5, 2019. If you are unable to make it out to the book sale this weekend, you may always check the City News Group Community Calendar as well as liking the Grand Terrace Friends of the Library Facebook page for upcoming used book sales. The Grand Terrace Library is located at 22795 Barton Road, in City Hall.
