GRAND TERRACE >> The Grand Terrace Minor Dodgers are 2016 undefeated champions. "I am very proud of these players," said John Campos, manager. "They worked very hard to achieve their goal." First Coach Rudy Garcia added, "It took a team effort to do this. We had the best coaching staff." The coaching staff included Art Santoya, Scott Cervantes and Leo Gonzales, including Shawnie Cleveland, team mother. "To have a 20-game season schedule and not lose a game is a lot of heart for 7 to 8-year-olds," he said. "We are all so proud of them." The Grand Terrace Dodgers will take a long, well-deserved summer off to have fun and relax.
