Tim Evans founded the Unforgettables foundation in 1998.

The Unforgettables Foundation’s founder and CEO Tim Evans, who had the idea for this award-winning and essential charity in December 1998, was honored as “December Hero” by the Ontario Reign (ACHL), a part of the NHL’s LA Kings hockey system, on Friday night in Ontario. The center ice ceremony was a bit symbolic as well because it featured a throwback-remembering theme, and The Unforgettables has had both Inland Empire Counties Boards of Supervisors to proclaim December to Remember in the honor of families helped by the cause. Riverside County Supervisors made the proclamation on Dec. 5 and San Bernardino County Supervisors did the setting aside of the month on Dec. 19 in general session.  The Unforgettables Foundation – which is truly a unique 501(c)(3) will present the 18th Annual Light for Little Lives Walk on Dec. 31, in Loma Linda at 3:30pm in the Ronald McDonald House parking lot at Anderson & Barton. The new title sponsor will be the Fontana Foundation of Hope and its founder and former TUF Board Member, Jack Long. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend. The mission of TUF is to assist all financially challenged families in Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Clark Counties, who have lost a child (18 years and down to 32 weeks of pregnancy for any cause of death from SIDs to Sickle Cell, to Suicide and cancer and car accidents) and are struggling with burial and funeral costs. The charity is in its 20th year of official existence in 2018 and has helped over 5,000 cases.
