Beverly's Pond in San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary

After several years of being dry and filled with weeds, Beverley's Pond at the west end of San Timoteo Nature Sanctuary is full of water (instead of weeds) and is attracting avian fauna.  The birds are happy, and we're happy.  But the pond won't take care of itself.  We must keep invasive weeds from taking over again, prevent sediment from filling it up again, and make sure the water has the right amounts of natural ingredients to keep it healthy.  You have an opportunity to be part of making this treasure regain its status as a birding hot-spot.  Simply join the Pond Team.  We will meet only quarterly, each team member will have a specific task to do, and it won't cost you a thing.  And you will learn from experts.  Call Sherli at 909 782-6208.
