As the days get longer and the evenings begin to warm up, Moreno Valley comes alive with opportunities to gather, celebrate, and enjoy time together as a community. This summer, we have an exciting lineup of events offering something for everyone, whether you’re looking to celebrate culture, enjoy live entertainment, or simply spend time with family and friends.    We begin by honoring and celebrating Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, at the Civic Center Amphitheater. This evening brings our community together through live entertainment, local artists, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. Most importantly, it honors an impactful moment in our nation’s history. It’s a meaningful and vibrant way to connect, learn, and celebrate the end of slavery in America.    Just a few weeks later, we’ll unite for our Fourth of July Parade and Funfest on Saturday, July 4. With the morning parade to an evening filled with music, food, and the most spectacular fireworks show in the Inland Empire, it’s one of Moreno Valley’s most anticipated traditions. Whether you join us early in the day or come out for the Family FunFest, it’s a celebration full of hometown pride and summer spirit.    Throughout July and early August, the fun continues at our Civic Center Amphitheater with MoVal Rocks and MoVal Movies. Enjoy free Thursday night concerts featuring everything from Motown and classic rock to tribute bands. And, on Friday evenings, bring a blanket for family-friendly movie nights under the stars. These events are a great way to unwind, connect with neighbors, and make lasting summer memories for the entire family.    I hope to see you out there this summer, as we celebrate our diversity, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds that make our community feel like home!     Find all event details by visiting our summer event page at moval.org/summer.
