Voice of the People: Sports in Grand Terrace

The following was a submission by a local Boy Scout striving to obtain his Communication Merit Badge by writing a letter to the Editor: I think we should keep soccer in Grand Terrace for a long time because a lot of people like soccer but if they don't like soccer they could play any other sport. Grand Terrace should keep sports and never leave them and they should keep the park clean and be a good park. In Grand Terrace they could put a bowling alley in the old Stater Bros. It will attract a lot of people and especially kids because kids love bowling. It will be awesome. If you build it then it will make good money and the taggers will go away because people will actually take care of it. People who love sports will love bowling. Also in the park you should make the park really nice like put many other plants and trees in the park so people who like sports will come. So it would be a really good thing for the city. Sports will be more popular in the city and more people will actually come so the sports are gonna be better if you clean up the park and make the sports better.
