The city of Grand Terrace will be hosting its Annual Animal Clinic on Thursday, Feb. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grand Terrace City Hall located at 22795 Barton Road. The clinic offers local residents the opportunity to bring their dogs and cats to be vaccinated, micro-chipped and licensed with the city. Rabies shots will be administered for just $6 and AVID Microchip implants will be offered at discounted rate of $20 - about half of what veterinarians charge. This includes life-time registration in the National PETrac Registry. “We know our residents love their animals and this is a great way to make sure they are healthy and happy,” said Interim City Manager Carol Jacobs. “Micro-chip implants have reunited thousand of animals with their owners.” The program is open to Grand Terrace residents only. The city will accept cash or check for payments but no credit or debit cards at this time. For more information, please call the city at 909-824-6621 ext. 255 or visit AVID at www.avidid.com.
