Ruth Earle Lawrence was born in Saugerties, N.Y. on Feb. 29, 1933. She passed away on Sept. 13, 2014 in Redlands. She came to Colton, in 1960, where she and her husband raised their four children Bob, Gary, Bonnie and Linda. She was extremely active in PTA and was a room mother for all of her children. She worked in retail sales for JC Penney and other retail stores. She was a Licensed Foster Parent and took in many children. The last one she adopted. She had the most loving heart, there was never a child she would not care for, which made her an amazing grandmother. She loved all her babies, even when they were 18 and 19, they had her watchful eye on them when they would leave for the weekend, so there were no parties, and she loved it. She moved to central California in 1995 when she married her second husband Bill Lawrence. They enjoyed many happy years together. She returned to So. California 2 years ago. She is survived by her husband Bill, sons Bob (Debbie) and Gary (Carmen) and daughter Bonnie (Art). Her youngest daughter Linda passed away at the age of 47 in late July 2014. She had 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was a loving grandmother. We love you Mom, you will forever be in our hearts.
