The City of Grand Terrace will begin implementing modified counter service hours at City Hall beginning Oct. 6, according to a release issued by the city. The modified hours will go into effect "in order to align the city's staffing resources with the adopted 2030 Vision and Phase I Implementation Strategies," the release states. Modified service hours beginning Oct. 6 will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to noon, and on Thursday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. "Modified service hours will allow city staff to fulfill various implementation strategies including, but not limited to, exploring potential revenue sources to support infrastructure needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to prioritize economic development efforts; developing a program to implement an online permitting system; and updating the development and sign codes," according to the release. Until Oct. 6, City Hall will remain open and accessible, maintaining its current operating hours of Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact Community Development Director Sandra Molina at 909-430-2225 or at smolina@cityofgrandterrace.org.
