ALL>> Driver Jessica Welch of Grand Terrace, finished out the racing season winning Rookie of the Year in her No. 22 Butler Racing, 1984 Dodge Daytona Barber Pole Race Car at the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino on Saturday, Sept. 10. “It’s no wonder Jessica’s fan base has continued to grow throughout the season, she puts on one exciting competitive show against fellow drivers,” Jamie Lynn Lopez of Butler Racing said. Beginning her racing career in the Barber Pole Division at the start of the 2016 season in April, with only seven races under her belt and no previous racing experience, Welch has shown fellow drivers and fans the excitement of finishing the overall season second in points for the Barber Pole Division. During the same race, driver Rob Anderson of Ontario, finished out the season winning the Barber Pole Trophy Dash and Main Event in his No. 127 Butler Racing Ford Probe Barber Pole Race Car. Rob started his racing career in 1989 and has raced in various divisions, winning numerous championships over the years. “This is Rob’s first year in the Barber Pole Division and based on Saturday nights show fans are in for an exciting season in 2017,” Lopez said. Butler Racing would like to thank the following 2016 Season Sponsors: American Metal Recycling, JLT Guatemala, J. Riley Distillery, Bakers Drive Thru, GT Imprints, La Pasta Italia, Old No. 22 Brand, Garcia Tires and Carpet Coop. For more race team information and pictures, please visit butlerracingteam.com
