A youth counselor was arrested early Sunday morning in Grand Terrace after he was found engaged in sexual acts with a minor. Ameer Bradley, 28, of Fontana, was taken into custody after a San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy conducting a vehicle check on the 22700 block of De Berry Street, where he observed Bradley performing "unlawful sex acts" with a 15-year-old minor, according to sheriff's officials. The deputy conducted a consent search of Bradley's phone, where nude photos of the juvenile were located, according to sheriff's officials, "as well as other possible juvenile victims," a news release issued by the sheriff's department states. Bradley was placed into custody and taken to Sheriff's headquarters for questioning, where deputies discovered that Bradley had met the minor on an online dating site called "Jake-d." Bradley is a youth counselor at Starshine Treatment Center in San Bernardino and Trinity Youth Outreach in Yucaipa. At time of press, calls made to both centers by the City News seeking commentary were not returned. The sheriff department's Crimes Against Children Detail assumed the ongoing investigation, which is being conducted for additional possible victims, a release states. Bradley was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center on charges of unlawful sex crimes with a minor, with a bail amount of $100,000, booking records show. He had a scheduled arraignment court date of Tuesday, April 28. Anyone with information regarding this incident may contact Detective Gerald Leninger at the Central Station, 909-387-3545, or Detective David Clifford with the Crimes against Children Detail at 909-387-3615.
