City Receives Prestigious Financial Management Award

The City of Grand Terrace has received the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Operating Budget Meritorious Award from the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO). In order to receive this award, a budget must meet rigorous standards for accuracy, accountability, organization, content and disclosure, as judged by an impartial panel of reviewers in the CSMFO program. This award will be presented to the City Council at the May 13th Council meeting. held at the Grand Terrace City Hall. located at 22795 Barton Road. The budget is available for public review on the City's web site at www.cityofdrandterrace.orq. CSMFO is the statewide organization serving all California municipal finance professionals. CSMFO promotes excellence in financial management through its budget and financial reporting review programs; as well as through innovation, continuing education. and the professional development of its members. CSMFO stresses honesty, integrity and adherence to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
