The Friends of the Grand Terrace Library recently donated $10,000 for the purchase of new computers and technology enhancements at the Grand Terrace Branch Library.
Community members are reminded by the Friends of the Grand Terrace Library that all proceeds from their book sales and DVD rentals support the library and go toward the purchase of new materials and performances at the annual Summer Reading Program.
As part of their ongoing fundraising campaign, Friends of the Grand Terrace Library will hold their next big book sale blowout event on Saturday, March 28 in the Community Room from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Barbara Khacherian, treasurer for the group, encourages and reminds residents that brand new DVD movies are available for rent at the library for a $1.50 per day, and often purchases titles not available at Red Box.
The library also has more than 1,000 DVD titles that can be checked out for free with a San Bernardino County library card.
