On June 21, 2014 the Grand Terrace Lions took to the mountains of Wrightwood – going a little “wild” for their 40th anniversary and 41st officer installation. The event was held at the Lion’s Camp at Wrightwood, directly across the street from Teresita Pines. The evening was a combination of taking time to thank our outgoing Lion President Wayne and his board of directors for the time and energy they put in during the last year and celebrating the past 40 years of existence of the Grand Terrace Lions Club. District Governor Mary Jane Bodnar and PDG John Bodnar were special guests with District Governor doing the honor of installing the officers. We of course, with District Governor Mary Jane’s getting into the spirit of the Lions Gone Wild theme, welcomed in President – Elect Deborah Seuylemezian and her board of directors. On June 22, 2014 President elect Deborah held a retreat with those Grand Terrace Lions brave enough to spend the night in the wild. She discussed her plans for the coming year.
