Crafton Hills College is adding class sections for a 9-week session that will begin October 19. “We have the capacity to add classes,” says Dr. Cheryl Marshall, president, “This will give current students an opportunity to complete their education faster and new students a chance to get started before the New Year.” Fifty sections will be added, including math, English, computer science, sociology, psychology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, American Sign Language, Medical Terminology and a host of activity classes. Some of the courses will be offered online for even more convenience. “We’ve planned offerings designed for people who are interested in improving their work skills, as well as for our current students who need additional courses,” says Dr. Bryan Reece, vice president of instruction. “You can complete a class in nine weeks, instead of the traditional 18,” he said. Current students can add classes through WebAdvisor. New students can find the list of available classes on Crafton’s website, where they will also need to submit an application to get started. Spring semester classes will begin Jan. 19, 2016.
