Boys & Girls Club Partners With City For Summer Swimming Program

GRAND TERRACE >> Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Redlands-Riverside is partnering with the City of Grand Terrace to offer a Summer Swim Program at Grand Terrace High School and it is not too late to join. The Club is providing Red Cross-certified lifeguards and instructors for the program, which is for ages 5-18 as well as adults, including senior citizens. The program started in June and ends July 29. “We’re happy to work with the City of Grand Terrace to not only provide a place to cool down on hot summer days, but also work with kids to make them water safe through our instructional swimming programs,” said P.T. McEwen, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs. The program includes water exercise for adults over the age of 21 and seniors, beginning swim classes for youth ages 6-17, and open swimming for all ages. It runs Monday through Friday at Grand Terrace High School, located at 1810 Main St. Grand Terrace, CA 92313.
