This past Friday, February 7, the Grand Terrace High School Varsity boys Basketball team played in a Sunkist league game against their league rival, Colton Yellowjackets. This was a home game for our Titans and was played at the GTHS gym. The game was a back and forth affair as Colton was trying to avenge an earlier loss to Grand Terrace last month in Colton 62-60. Both teams played with a lot of determination to defeat each other. The Titans prevailed in the game by a score of 53-52. Grand Terrace has only been competing in a Varsity level sport for 2 seasons and are starting to become a factor in the Sunkist league. With the win, the Titans' record improved to 4-3 in Sunkist League, 11-10 overall, and into sole possession of 3rd place in the standings. With the loss, the Yellowjackets record goes to 4-4 in Sunkist League, 11-14 overall. Congratulations to the Titans for their victory. Titan Pride is alive and well in Grand Terrace.
