Voice of the People: 'Decisions'

GRAND TERRACE>> From our subscription of the Billy Graham, “Decision Magazine,” we could get a video with excerpts of Franklin Graham’s speeches from the Capitol steps of every state in our nation prior to the Nov. 8, 2016 election. The speeches do not highlight who to vote for, but to vote for moral and Constitution issues. Pray for forgiveness for the sins of our people and our nation. We felt the video, titled “Decisions,” was so valuable to share with friends and political leaders, we asked permission to duplicate the DVD with equipment we have, but found we could purchase them in bulk for less than the cost to produce them. No matter your satisfaction of the results of this year’s most critical election of the history of our nation, please view this video in its entirety, and then pass it on to a friend or political leader — we did. In 2012 election, results were determined by 5 million voters. However, 25-30 million evangelicals registered voters chose not to vote and left the results of the election to the 5 million people who determined the results and made their views known. Their views were probably exercised more than the last 4 years of millions of evangelicals. The output of the votes was phenomenal. We are “Stronger Together” and “Make America Great Again,” but we must do it by prayer and involvement with political leadership in our community. Thank you for praying and sharing the message of this video. My Hope is a national initiative to encourage and equip the local church to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many people can share the gospel message with friends, family, colleagues and neighbors using the video that features powerful messages. To order bulk copies, please visit www.myhopewithbillygraham.org. 1 Timothy 2: 1-5 states, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.” By Neil E. “Pete” and Darlene Petersen Community Writers
