IEWBC to Offer QuickBook Lessons to Women Business Owners

INLAND EMPIRE>> Beginning on May 4, the Inland Empire Women's Business Center, a subsidiary of the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at CSUSB, will be offering a three part QuickBooks training series. 

The seminar, which will take place at 1003 E. Cooley Dr., Suite 109 in Colton, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on May 4, 11, and 18. Registration for this event is $97 dollars. Pre-registration ends on May 5. 

The series, titled "Get Control with Quickbooks" is designed to help business owners better organize their accounts using QuickBooks, computer software used for running reports and managing accounts.

Also covered in the series is bank account management, making deposits and entering payment, tracking sales tax, paying bills, and working with bank accounts. 

Participants will also be shown how to automate common tasks using quickbooks, thus maximizing their efficiency in the workplace. 

The Inland Empire Women's Business Center will provide laptops for the event, each of which will be equipped with the latest version of QuickBooks software. 

The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship provides support to budding entrepreneurs. They provide training, mentoring, and business counseling for female business owners.  Their hours are from Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday by appointment only.They are  located at 3780 Market St. in Riverside, California.
