ALL>> Jose Preciado, owner of California Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning, was 18 years old when he did a good deed and because of it, he received a truck with carpet cleaning equipment. After many years of experience, Preciado started his own company in 2001 and offers many services in locations ranging from Yucaipa, California to Rancho Cucamonga, California. Some of the services that are offered include tile and grout cleaning, carpet repairs and stretching, carpet upholstery protector, pet odor treatment, Oriental rug cleaning and house cleaning. From 2001 to 2008, Preciado had five vans with equipment for the jobs. However, he said after the economy went down in 2008, he had to reduce the number of vans to two which he and another employee use. Aside from water damage jobs, Preciado said when a customer puts in an order, they will be working directly with him. “The experience I have and that I do the work myself makes me different than other businesses,” Preciado said. “Every time I go to a customer’s house, I am 100 percent honest. I never try to up sell a job. If somebody calls me for an estimate over the phone, that’s the price they are going to get.” Preciado previously worked for major cleaning companies for years where he saw those companies up sell a job to make a large profit. Preciado said customer service and the customer’s happiness is one of the most important aspects of his job. Aside from his work experience, Preciado also took many classes to become certified for the services he offers. One of the many services he is proud of includes house cleaning services. After working with older clients who wanted their spaces cleaned, Preciado said he hired four employees who he said do a great job in cleaning. The company’s Facebook page states, “We not only have the strongest equipment in the market but we also have the most reasonable prices. We assure you that if we can’t clean it, no one can.” California Carpet Care has many 5-star reviews on Yelp, Google and Judy's Book. For more information about the services offered and the November specials, please contact Preciado at 909-884-4670 or 1-800-797-7135 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
