The community joins together in tradition of the 34th Annual Grand Terrace County Fair on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lions Club Community Center on Barton Road.
Old-fashioned family fun will be had with arts and crafts, a baking contest and a chili cook-off.
Fair-goers will also be able to buy used books from the “Friends of the Library” sale and choose from a plethora of handcrafted items sold at various vendors.
Some of the unique features of this event are handmade quilts and crochet work, various craft items, toys, woodworking, gourd art, home décor, jewelry, and many more one-of-a-kind treasures and Christmas gifts.
You’ll also find home-grown plants and produce, hand-carved walking sticks with intricate details, and much more.
Various community organizations will also be on hand to meet with the public and answer questions.
The event is sponsored by the Grand Terrace Historical and Cultural Activities Committee.
