The Grand Terrace Senior Center gives a big thank you to Elvira and Frank Valenzuela, who called to see if the Grand Terrace Senior Center needed volunteers and came to work alongside the students. Frank, along with student Shawn Carter, spray painted the garden shed. All the students moved the shed away from the wall so it could be completed, a Herculean task. They cleaned all the dining room windows inside and out. They swept and scrubbed the kitchen floors and lobby. They did a very thorough job cleaning and even did the kitchen floors and the Stove backdrop. The coaches and parents who came included Coach Billy Mixon, coach Ray Rodriguez and Booster parent Lisa Mixon, alongside Jonathan Valenzuela, Christian Valenzuela, Jonathan Zumora, Tyler Henry, Andres Huante, Jared Carnell, Frankie Valenzuela, Janae Mixon, Anthony Vargas, Isaiah Tamasoaalii, Jeremiah Mixon, Edward Montoya, Lisa Mixon, and Chris Montono.
