AIM Recycling California opened its doors to families on September 7th, hosting a lively Family Day at the Colton facility. The event was designed to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of its employees and to foster community connections.

Families were treated to guided tours of the facility, led by the General Manager, aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned school bus to ensure they could enjoy all 19+ acres while taking a break from the 108-degree weather. Attendees gained a firsthand look at the vital recycling processes that their loved ones contribute to daily.

The festivities were not limited to tours. Families enjoyed a day filled with fun activities, including jumpers and inflatable games that delighted children and adults alike. A complimentary ice cream truck added a sweet touch to the event, ensuring everyone could indulge in a chilly treat on a warm day.

AIM Recycling was thrilled to welcome the Colton Police and Fire Departments, who joined in on the festivities. The police brought along fun swag for employees and their families, while both departments participated in games and enjoyed delicious tacos with attendees.

Adding a special highlight to the day, a sneak peek reading of the upcoming children's book, “Dinos in the Scrap Yard: A Metal Recycling Adventure!” captivated young listeners and sparked excitement for the importance of metal recycling.

"This day was all about showing our gratitude to our employees and their families," said the General Manager. "We want them to know how much we value their hard work and the community we build together."

The successful event not only strengthened family bonds but also reinforced the sense of unity within the Colton community. As the day came to a close, laughter and joy echoed through the Colton facility, a testament to the commitment and spirit of those who make AIM Recycling California a thriving community.
