On Saturday, Sept. 19, at approximately 8:09 p.m., deputies from the Loma Linda station received a report of a male subject loitering behind the Stater Bros. shopping center. The subject was identified by deputies as Roger Dale Beckham, a 60-year-old transient. During their contact, the deputies found Beckham to be a registered sex offender who had been living in San Bernardino County for the past few months. Deputies determined Beckham was in violation of his required sex registration. Beckham was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender in San Bernardino County and was booked into the Central Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
