Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 was to be the last final regular season game for the Grand Terrace High School varsity football team, but it soon turned into tragedy. One of our own was affected by a heinous crime. That evening, the father of GTHS Junior Chris Santoscoy, #13, was killed. The Grand Terrace Football Team and football boosters would like to lend a hand in helping the family pay for funeral costs, which unfortunately the family cannot afford. As a community, we ask for assistance in this endeavor. On Saturday, Nov. 16, the GTHS Football Team will be holding a car wash in honor of Chris's father. The car wash will be held at Walgreens, 22456 Barton Rd., in our city of Grand Terrace, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please show your support. The car wash will charge $5 per vehicle, but donations are greatly appreciated. Checks may be made out to GTHS Football Boosters, in care of Santoscoy funeral. Thank you for your support. TITAN PRIDE IS CITY WIDE.
