GRAND TERRACE >> The City of Grand Terrace begins a new Weekend Code Enforcement Program. In October of 2015 the City Council set priorities by funding special Quality of Life Enhancement and Preservation projects, including the Weekend Code Enforcement Program, using one-time money from the previous year operating budget. The Weekend Code Enforcement Program will provide additional resources to address quality of life issues throughout the City, such as abandoned or inoperative vehicles, cars parked on lawns, unpermitted construction, and removal of signs in the City’s rights of way. “Weekend code enforcement goes along with the City’s Mission Statement to Preserve and Protect Our Community and Its Exceptional Quality Of Life” said City Manager G. Harold Duffey. The City of Grand Terrace continues to encourage residents be familiar with permit requirements and other items included in the Grand Terrace Municipal Code. Please contact the Planning and Development Services Department at (909) 824-6621 ext. 255 if you would like information regarding permits or for general information regarding the Municipal Code. You can also review the Municipal Code and obtain permit information on our website at www.cityofgrandterrace-ca.gov.
