The Foundation of Grand Terrace has selected Children’s Fund as the recipient of their toy/gift drive that will be held during the Christmas Concert in the Park on Friday, Dec. 13 at Rollins Park in Grand Terrace. Sandals Church is producing the concert. “Our Foundation is asking the concert-goers to bring an unwrapped, new toy/gift which will then be donated to Children’s Fund,” stated Sally McGuire, member of the Foundation of Grand Terrace. “We love the idea of being able to put a smile on the face of an underprivileged child during the holiday season, to be able to give to those less fortunate.” The Foundation of Grand Terrace was founded in September 2003; since its inception, the Foundation has participated in or hosted various community events in the effort to enhance the quality of life in Grand Terrace. The Celebration of Giving Campaign is in its 25th year at Children’s Fund. “We have been collecting holiday gifts for underprivileged children, providing gifts to thousands of children in our local communities,” said Jane Nottingham, Events Coordinator for Children’s Fund. “We thank the Foundation of Grand Terrace for your kindness this holiday season.” For more information about the Christmas Concert in the Park, contact Sandals Church at 951-637-8800.
