Internships are available for high school seniors at the City of Grand Terrace.
The intention is to provide work experience and a way to earn money to offset graduation costs.
"This internship is a great way to build experience in multiple areas from public works to administration," said City Manager, Konrad Bolowich.
Internship requirements are as follows:
- Must be a graduating senior
- Students can be from any high school
- Must live in the City of Grand Terrace
- Work is on weekdays after school
Students have the opportunity to make $15.50 per hour with 25 hours of paid work.
The program will open again in June for the next group of seniors with work throughout the summer and school year.
