San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies are searching for three who are suspected of robbing a Grand Terrace gas station. A release issued Friday morning by sheriff's officials states that two Hispanic males and one Hispanic female are wanted for the apparent robbery of the Shell Gas Station at 22045 Barton Road before they allegedly fled the scene. Deputy C. Ortiz from the Grand Terrace station responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred on Thursday night, Aug. 20, at approximately 10:40 p.m. The incident report issued by deputies states that two male suspects - one described as a slender Hispanic male around 22 or 23 years old, wearing a black shirt, shorts and a black hat and the other described as a heavy set Hispanic male around 27 or 28 years old wearing a black shirt with sleeves that went past the elbows, shorts, a black and white hat and black shoes - entered the business with one hand under their shirt and appeared to have weapons. The incident release states one suspect allegedly stole property from the store while the other approached the clerk and demanded money from the cash register. According to the release, "The suspects got away with the cash register drawer," which contained an undetermined amount of money. They also allegedly stole beer, cigarettes and lottery tickets. The release states the suspects exited the gas station and got into an early 1990s four-door Honda Accord, either black or dark green in color, driven by a third suspect, described only as a Hispanic female. The suspects fled from the gas station, traveling westbound on Barton Road toward the freeway, according to the incident release. Anyone with information regarding this investigation should contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
