You may have noticed the growing popularity of CrossFit in social media lately and maybe have even come across incredible athletes participating in the annual CrossFit Games. At first glance CrossFit can seem intimidating but it’s not. The average person does not perform at this elite level. CrossFit was designed to be for everyone. Regardless of your age and abilities CrossFit affiliates are changing the lives of thousands worldwide and now you have the opportunity to experience this in Grand Terrace. The growing success of CrossFit has been seen in neighboring towns and now the people of Grand Terrace will benefit from those same opportunities for fitness and wellness. CrossFit brings people to movement, community, and motivation, and away from routine. CrossFit is good for the body; it keeps the body moving. CrossFit is good for the mind. The variety keeps things challenging and interesting. Meeting the challenges of intense workouts develops mental toughness that bleeds beyond fitness into all areas of one’s life; it is good for the spirit. The community built at a CrossFit feeds the spirit with positive encouragement and partnership. All of these things make CrossFit the perfect way to enable all to stay well and fit for as long as they possibly can.
