Voice of the People: Youth Center

The following was a submission by a local Boy Scout striving to obtain his Communication Merit Badge by writing a letter to the Editor: I think we need a community center for all of the youth and kids to go after school to wait for their parents to get off work. We need a community center to let all of the kids to do their homework and play when they're done with homework. All of the parents that have to work don't have to worry about leaving their children at home alone. I think we should put the community center where the old Stater Bros. was (by Dollar Tree). We'll have volunteers working at the community center. If kids have a place to go, the kids will get into less trouble.
