Jalen Knight, a 17 year old Senior at Grand Terrace High School, is a model student-athlete with a commendable 3.5 GPA. Jalen has consistently stayed on track, making a name for himself as an accomplished Titan both on the field and in the classroom.

A dedicated athlete, Jalen has competed in both football and track for four years. In football, he plays as a wide receiver and cornerback, while in track and field, he shines in the 100m and 200m sprints. His athletic journey at GTHS includes significant achievements, notably winning the San Andreas League title twice in football and earning the title of two-time CIF Champion in Track and Field. His dedication to sports has made him one of the standout players on the Titan team, demonstrating resilience, commitment, and talent.

When asked about his motivation, Jalen credits his mother as his greatest influence, saying, "My mom has shaped me into the person I am today. She’s pushed me for everything that I have and has always been my No. 1 supporter." Her unwavering encouragement has been instrumental in Jalen’s growth as both a student and an athlete.

Beyond sports, Jalen enjoys gaming and listening to music. Looking ahead, he plans to attend a four-year college and major in real estate, with a personal goal to set the GTHS school record in the 200m sprint.

Reflecting his drive for self-improvement, Jalen shares one of his favorite quotes by Ernest Hemingway: “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”

For those who have watched this Titan’s journey over his four years at GTHS, his growth and achievements have been inspiring. As he prepares for the next chapter, the Titan Fam Bam (Titan Community) eagerly awaits all that Jalen will accomplish. The best is undoubtedly yet to come!
