It's impressive to see this young Lady Titan, Amarie Oliver's dedication to both academics and athletics despite her busy schedule. Playing sports since she was 8 years old and now competing in Track & Field at GTHS has proven she is a hardworking individual.

Amarie has managed to excel both academically and athletically while attending GTHS. Her dedication to track and her numerous achievements in the sport reflect her passion and commitment. It's great to see that she has a strong support system from her family and coaches, as well as a positive mindset that helps her push through challenges.

This dedication likely contributes to her ability to stay focused and balanced in her endeavors. Her involvement in sports from a young age probably instilled in her important values like discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, which likely contribute to her success both on and off the track.

Her goal of attending college on a track scholarship shows her ambition and determination to pursue her passion further. With her perseverance and positive attitude, there's no doubt she'll achieve great things in the future. And her quote, "Don’t be afraid of failure," is a powerful reminder that setbacks are just part of the journey towards success.

A residence shows visible damage from flooding, mud and debris following severe winter storms that began Dec. 23, which brought heavy rain and debris flows to mountain and high desert communities across San Bernardino County. This week, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors approved recovery-related fee waivers to help eligible property owners repair and rebuild as response and long-term recovery efforts continue.
