Christian Hernandez is an outstanding student athlete and has earned this week’s GTHS Athlete of the Week for his achievements and dedication to both academics and sports!

With a strong GPA and a passion for soccer that spans over a decade, it's clear that Christian is a driven individual. He has been playing soccer since he was three years old, and it is a sport he enjoys to play for fun and competitively.

It’s fantastic to hear that Christian enjoys some downtime away from soccer, hitting the skatepark with his friends! It's a great way to unwind and have fun while staying active. With his dedication to both soccer and skateboarding, Christian embodies a well-rounded spirit that embraces both sports and leisure.

Christian’s leadership as Captain of his high school soccer team speaks volumes about his character and commitment. Leading a team requires not just skill on the field but also qualities like communication, teamwork, and dedication. Christian's ability to inspire and guide his teammates demonstrates his strong leadership qualities and his commitment to excellence both on and off the field.

As the GTHS Soccer Team Captain, Christian sets a positive example for his teammates, showing them the importance of hard work, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His leadership fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie within the team, contributing to their success on the field.

This Titan’s dedication to his role as Captain reflects his passion for soccer and his desire to see his team succeed. His leadership is a testament to his character and serves as an inspiration to those around him.

Christian finds motivation in his mother and draws inspiration from soccer legend Messi. With aspirations to attend college and continue playing soccer at a higher level, Christian's future is bright.

“Hard work always beats talent" is a powerful motto that reflects Christian's determination and drive. We have no doubt that he will excel in whatever he sets his mind to.

Wishing this Titan all the best in his future endeavors. The world is eagerly awaiting to see the great things he'll accomplish, and we will be here cheering him on!
