Blue Mountain is gearing up for its annual community hike on March 3rd, an event eagerly anticipated by locals. In an exclusive interview, organizers shed light on what makes this event so special and why it's more than just a climb to the top.

"OK, The Blue Mountain Hike is coming up," announces one speaker, setting the stage for the conversation. With March 3rd marked on the calendar, the excitement is palpable. "This year it is on Sunday we rotate Saturday and Sunday," emphasizing the significance of this particular day for the hike.

For those who haven't experienced it yet, the hike up Blue Mountain is described as both challenging and rewarding. "If you've never been to the top. It's a lot. But it's doable," reassures one of the speakers. The hike typically takes about an hour and a half, offering breathtaking views along the way. While some may choose to sprint up, others prefer a leisurely pace, but regardless of speed, the journey promises to be worth it.

What makes this event truly special is its community-driven nature. The involvement of various groups, from the Sheriff's Department to the Boy Scouts, adds to the sense of camaraderie. "We will have the sheriff, CERT team, and Fire Dept" mentions one speaker, highlighting the support from law enforcement and emergency response teams. Additionally, the participation of local organizations like the Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Terrace High School cheerleaders underscores the widespread community engagement. SEE YOU THERE!
