The Foundation of Grand Terrace and the Veterans Wall of Freedom Committee are pleased to announce the Memorial Day Observance at the Veterans Wall of Freedom will take place on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 11:00 am in the Veterans Freedom Park (formerly Pico Park) in Grand Terrace, CA. The Veterans Wall of Freedom, unveiled in 2015, is a monument to honor the brave men and women of the United States military, past and present, for their sacrifices, dedication, and service.

The Veterans Wall of Freedom monument is designed to be an enduring reminder of the freedoms we enjoy daily because of the service and sacrifice of those who served in the United States military. This unique monument spells out the word FREEDOM in six-foot high block letters with over 1,600 granite plaque spaces for veterans covering the front of the letters.

All veterans of the United States military are eligible for a plaque. Plaque reservation forms are available on the website. Each plaque is available for a $100 donation.

Memorial Day is a solemn day of remembrance for the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Please join us in honoring our fallen servicemen and women at this Memorial Day Observance.

For more information on the Veterans Wall of Freedom, or how you can honor your veteran on the wall, or how to become a sponsor, please visit VeteransWallOfFreedom.org.
