Grand Terrace, CA – Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh spoke at this month’s Grand Terrace Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee Connections meeting, where she engaged with local business leaders on key issues and emphasized the importance of an informed and involved constituency in the Inland Empire. Chamber members welcomed Ochoa Bogh’s insights as she outlined her vision for accountability and decorum expected from elected officials.

“I’m grateful for the chance to connect with the hardworking business owners and leaders here in Grand Terrace,” said Senator Ochoa Bogh. “Because of your investments in your community, the Inland Empire is one of the fastest-growing regions in the nation, and I want you to know that your voice has power.”

The Chamber of Commerce has been a key advocate for local businesses, promoting policies that drive economic success and enhance the quality of life for all Grand Terrace residents. Senator Ochoa Bogh highlighted her efforts to reduce burdensome regulations, support workforce development, and prioritize legislation that empowers both small businesses and larger employers in the region.

“Senator Ochoa Bogh’s deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our business community is evident in every conversation we’ve had,” said Matt Brown, Vice President of the Grand Terrace Area Chamber of Commerce. “Her commitment to lowering taxes and ensuring that businesses in our region have the tools they need to thrive makes her an invaluable partner. We are grateful for her ongoing support and transparency.”

First elected to the State Senate in 2020, Ochoa Bogh spoke about her dedication to the continued prosperity of the region, outlining her work to bolster the Inland Empire’s economic infrastructure, increase opportunities for local businesses, and amplify the community’s voice in Sacramento.

“I’m not here to vilify or attack any of my colleagues. Quite frankly, I’m done with the toxicity that we see in politics,” she stated in closing. “I’m focused on governance, collaboration, and finding common ground to be the best representative for ALL constituents.”

Ochoa Bogh currently represents nearly 45% of California's new 19th State Senate district, which includes parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, encompassing communities such as Hemet, Apple Valley, Yucaipa, Beaumont, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Redlands, Banning, Desert Hot Springs, Loma Linda, Rancho Mirage, Yucca Valley, Highland, Barstow, Twenty-Nine Palms, Grand Terrace, and Calimesa.
