The boys’ and girls’ wrestling teams are proving that hard work, discipline, and an unbreakable team spirit are the key ingredients to success. This season, Grand Terrace is the talk of the town, and rightfully so.

Head Coach Vincent Rodriguez has been at the heart of this program, leading the charge with dedication and experience. His commitment to wrestling goes beyond just the season—he also helps runs a summer wrestling program, ensuring that young athletes get the training and preparation they need to rise to the next level.  A program that not only produces champions but also instills discipline and resilience in its athletes. His impact is seen not just in the present but in the future of Grand Terrace wrestling.Vincent Rodriguez quotes “ the best thing about being a coach at Grand Terrace high school is watching my students become successful community members and adults, It is  rewarding to see them succeed

One of the most inspiring stories within the program is his assistant coach, who was once his student at just 15 years old. Now, at 23, she stands beside him as a mentor and leader for the next generation of Titan wrestlers. This full-circle moment is a testament to the culture of Grand Terrace wrestling—a program built on growth, mentorship, and a deep love for the sport. Grand Terrace Titan wrestling is on fire this season, and two athletes have stood out as true MVPs, leading their teams with grit, determination, and undeniable skill. Head Coach Vincent Rodriguez and Assistant Coach Marissa Gonzalez are beyond proud of their season-long standout wrestlers—Greisy Sanchez for the girls’ team and Daniel Zamora for the boys’ team. Both athletes have consistently delivered dominant performances on the mat, showcasing their strength, technique, and relentless drive to win. Their leadership and dedication have set the tone for the entire team, pushing their fellow Titans to new heights. With each match, Greisy and Daniel have proven that they are forces to be reckoned with, and their impact on Grand Terrace wrestling is nothing short of inspiring. As the season progresses, the Titans are ready to keep the momentum going, with their MVPs leading the charge toward even greater victories.
