Need help with the age-old dilemma of getting those Christmas gifts wrapped? Volunteers from the Foundation of Grand Terrace Dog Park Committee will be available this Saturday and Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Walgreen’s (at Barton Road and Mt. Vernon) to help with this task. Customers took advantage of this service last Saturday and Sunday as they headed out to Christmas parties and family visits. This is the second year that these volunteers have provided the service to busy holiday shoppers and at the same time raised money to complete the long-awaited Grand Terrace Dog Park. The event last Saturday occurred after the first annual Dog Park Walk, where a group of supporters and their dogs braved the blustery winds as they walked from Walgreen’s to the park site at 22700 Vista Grande Way. The Dog Park Committee is looking for volunteers so they can expand the wrapping days and hours. If you would like to help, contact Mike Auld at 909-783-3425 and leave a message.
