City Council to Hold Public Hearing

The City of Grand Terrace is scheduled to hold a public hearing Aug. 31 at the Council Chambers, located at 22795 Barton Road in Grand Terrace at 6 p.m. about a proposed Disposition and Development Agreement between the City of Grand Terrace and Dr. Terry McDuffee, on the proposed sale and development of City owned property for future development. The subject property is approximately 39,850 square feet in size, or 0.91 acres, located on the southwest corner of Commerce Way and Michigan Street. The property is zoned Commercial Manufacturing, and designated General Commercial on the General Plan Land Use Map. The property is vacant and identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 1167-141-08. The proposed Disposition and Development Agreement and written report regarding the proposed sale, as required by section 52201 of the Government Code, will be available for public review at City Hall, located at 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, CA 92313, from August 31, 2016 through September 13, 2016. Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), this action is not subject to CEQA pursuant to Sections 15060 (c)(2) and (c)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines. Anyone wishing to speak in favor of or in opposition to the above listed item will be given the opportunity to do so before the City Council. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65009(b)(2): “If you challenge the nature of the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the public entity conducting the hearing at or prior to the public hearing.” If you have any questions regarding this project, the public hearing or this notice, please contact Planning and Development Services Director Sandra Molina at the Community Development Department located at 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, California (909) 824-6621 Extension 225, or via email smolina@grandterrace-ca.gov.
