New Colton Health Center to Host Grand Opening

COLTON>> Unicare Community Health Center (UCHC) will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the new health center in the City of Colton, located at 308 N. La Cadena Drive, CA 92324. The community is invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony set to be held at 12 p.m. Aug. 15. UCHC will provide free health screenings at the clinic from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the grand opening day. Along with the health screenings, there will be free blood pressure checks, as well as screenings for anemia, diabetes, vision, BMI/weight, adult immunizations and health education materials. Guests can also participate in raffle prizes, giveaways for all attendees, along with an opportunity to tour the new clinic facility and meet the providers and staff. Unicare Community Health Center is a FQHC community-based nonprofit organization, whose mission is to be a community health care organization that treats everyone with dignity, respect and cultural sensitivity to help create an environment in which all can prosper. Other clinics are located in Ontario, San Bernardino, Pomona and Fontana.
