G-Force NFL Flag Football got together at Grand Terrace High School, Sunday April 13th, for their Opening Ceremonies. The league offers non contact flag football and cheer opportunities for the boys and girl of Grand Terrace. The event was held at 8 AM until 1:30 PM. President Hayward Robinson welcomed the football players and their families, and the Benediction and National Anthem followed. The League has four divisions, based on age, in which 16 teams play. "It's all about offering an opportunity. Kids with more opportunities will become well rounded, and successful," said Robinson. The Opening Ceremonies featured an opening game, in which the 49ers won against the Steelers. Eight Games followed after. Robinson recognized the Committee members, including Flag Commissioner Desi Lora and Flag Coordinator Katie Bonilla. He also thanked Grand Terrace principal and athletic director Tiffany Gordon, and all the guests and volunteers. "G-Force Flag Football would like to thank all the supporters and volunteers for making G-force Flag a great experience for our youth, and helping to strengthen our friendships and relationships in our community by working together, and offering our youth more options and opportunities," he said. Robinson, who grew up playing youth football in Rialto, founded the Grand Terrace Chargers. A year later, it became Grand Terrace Titans Football with the help of Grand Terrace High School. In 2012, G-Force NFL Flag Football was born. "I am thankful to the community, to the school, and to God for allowing me to do what I love," Robinson shared.
