Applications Wanted for Youth Member Vacancy

The City Clerk’s office is accepting applications for one (1) Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member is appointed by the City Council. THE APPLICATION will be forwarded to the appointing authorities on March 8, 2022.

TERM: April 2022 through March 2023.

The application period will commence beginning February 10, 2022 and applicants must be a resident of Grand Terrace and be a junior in their second semester to participate and be active during their senior year. Applications are available in the Grand Terrace High School Activities Director’s office or in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.grandterrace-ca.gov.

Duties of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee youth member is to uphold the Committee’s mission of reviewing programs pertaining to parklands, park facilities and recreation programs and working with other youth to provide input on decisions that might impact use of facilities by youth.

On March 8, 2022 all Applications will be forwarded to the City Council. Please make sure your application is hand-delivered, emailed to dthomas@grandterrace-ca.gov or mailed to the Office of the City Clerk located at City Hall, 22795 Barton Road, Grand Terrace, CA. 92313 no later than March 1, 2022.
