Grand Terrace >> Grand Terrace High School is hosting the 2017 CIF Southern Section Boys Individual Divisional Tournament which will take place Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18. The Titan Wrestling Team, a high school sports team at Grand Terrace High School, along with parents and coaches will be hosting the large tournament. Twelve wrestlers from the Titan's Wrestling Team will be competing since they have advanced to the next level of the competition. A total of 458 high school wrestlers will be coming from the Inland Empire, Orange County and Ventura County. The two day tournament consists of 32 brackets with 14 weight class divisions. The Grand Terrace High School’s Titan Wrestling Team is asking the community for donations to fill their snack bar to help raise funds for future events for the Titan’s Wrestling Team. “All funds raised from the snack bar will go toward the end of the season banquet and pay for next season's tournament,” said Juanita Odenbaugh, Head Coach Odenbaugh's wife and parent of a Titan Wrestler. The types of donations they are asking for include cases of bottled water, Gatorade and 12 or 24 packs of diet or regular Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and Sprite. Donations are needed by Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 18 for the snack bar. All donations can be dropped off at Grand Terrace High School to Synthia Rodriquez.
