On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies from the Central Station Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) arrested Jordan Brandon McGuire who was wanted for multiple burglaries in the city of Grand Terrace. McGuire broke into residences and stole high-end mountain bicycles valued at over $8,000.00. When arrested, McGuire was found to be in possession of a loaded 22 caliber semi-automatic handgun.

McGuire was identified when he was captured on video surveillance selling one of the stolen bikes to a local area pawnshop. Deputy C. Veit authored a felony warrant for the arrest of McGuire for the burglaries and forwarded the case to the Central Sheriff’s station MET team for apprehension and service of the warrant.

McGuire is on active post-release community supervision (PRCS) out of Los Angeles but had moved out of the city without informing his probation officer. McGuire was apprehended in the city of Colton.

McGuire is a convicted felon in the state of California and is prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition. McGuire was booked into West Valley Detention Center on multiple felony charges and a no-bail probation violation.

The Multiple Enforcement Team is based out of Central Station and proudly serves the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino and the cities of Grand Terrace and Loma Linda. Deputies assigned to the MET team work closely with city and county partners to address recurring problem locations and quality of life issues for the residents.  MET deputies focus is the apprehension and prosecution of serious criminal offenders, parolees-at-large, felony probationers, sex offenders, tracking of criminal gang activity, narcotics violations, and other serious crimes
