GRAND TERRACE >> On July 12, at 10 p.m., deputies responded to an area check on Barton Road regarding the report of shoplifting at a local business.
The suspects left in a silver Ford Expedition. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle at Barton Road and Michigan Avenue. The vehicle had dealer plates on it and deputies discovered the registration expired in 2013. Inside the Expedition, deputies located suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, shaved keys and other burglary tools. No stolen property from the business was found in the vehicle. The Ford Expedition was towed and stored until it is properly registered.
Eddie Evett, Nicolas Wedge and Michael Harper are all transients from the Riverside area. They were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center.
