One of Southern California's favored campsites, Silent Valley, is a family camp club that everyone loves to visit. It holds seven fishing derbys each season. This past Labor Day weekend Silent Valley stocked up the fishing lake with three hundred pounds of fish. This massive amount of fish included farm-raised fish and five pounds of catfish.

Raul and Jacqueline Moreno were able to land over $200 worth of these fish. Raul has been camping at Silent Valley since he was 12 years old. Now at the age of 45, he and his wife enjoy fishing at the derby. Raul works with CFR Performance Auto Parts in Ontario. The duo loves to spend lots of their vacation days at Silent Valley, with their children.

When asked how he was able to catch so many fish he revealed his secret recipe for it: chicken liver, shrimp, and hot dogs.
