City News Group delved into the details of this exciting community event, which attracted over 2500 ghouls, ghosts, superheroes and more, descended upon the festive gathering, with estimates suggesting that the number might have even approached 3000.  This year's Trunk-or-Treat featured various businesses and service groups, including the fire department and the sheriff's department, all uniting in the spirit of Halloween to distribute candy to the eager trick-or-treaters. The addition of food trucks for the first time was well-received and contributed to the event's overall success.

The City of Grand Terrace expressed their gratitude to Walgreens for generously offering their parking lot for the event, despite the temporary disruption it caused to their store's parking operations. This collaboration showcased the strong sense of community spirit that runs deep in the City of Grand Terrace.

It was mentioned that not only local residents but also kids from nearby Highgrove attended the event. The safe and controlled environment provided an ideal setting for families to celebrate Halloween. With the presence of the sheriff's department and fire department, parents could ensure the safety of their children while collecting candies from known and trusted sources.

Several businesses and organizations made valuable contributions to the event. The Lions Club turned a truck into a pirate ship, adding a unique twist to the festivities. Another standout attraction was the trailer provided by Get Loaded, which transformed into a mini-haunted house, delighting both kids and adults alike.

While no pictures of the inside of the haunted house were confirmed, there are available images of the Lions Club's pirate-themed truck, adding a spectacular visual element to the event.
